History
Worship rap developed as CHH matured and artists sought to bridge the rap world and the modern-worship movement in the 2010s, blending Reach-style production with Hillsong/Elevation-era congregational writing. Lecrae's collaborations with worship singers, KB's anthemic cuts, and Social Club Misfits' hook-driven records modeled the form, and worship-night culture in youth ministry gave it a live home.
