History
Schoolhouse Rock! began as multiplication songs in the early 1970s and expanded into grammar, America, science and computers, with Bob Dorough and other writers giving educational television unusually sophisticated music. Its influence runs through classroom media, tribute albums, stage adaptations, They Might Be Giants' children's records, Flocabulary and countless animated explainers.
