History
The style grew from digital dancehall, UK dub, post-punk reggae, and electronic studio culture. Mad Professor, Adrian Sherwood, Dub Syndicate, Zion Train, Dreadzone, Asian Dub Foundation, Mungo's Hi Fi, Dubmatix, Gaudi, Major Lazer, Easy Star All-Stars, O.B.F, Hollie Cook, and Pachyman all show different routes through electronic reggae. It has remained useful because reggae's riddim logic naturally adapts to remix culture, DJs, and software-based production.
