History
Following the garage revival, bands like Interpol, Franz Ferdinand and The Killers updated post-punk's angular template around 2002-04 to broad commercial success. Editors, Bloc Party and The Bravery extended the wave mid-decade before it dissolved into broader indie and electronic-leaning directions toward the decade's end.
