Organic House is earthy, spacious house music built from hand percussion, soft kicks, ethnic or folk instrumentation, warm pads, field-recording texture, and slow melodic cycles. Tempos usually sit around 112–122 BPM, and the mood is ritualistic, desert-sunset, and communal rather than peak-time or radio-facing.

History

The genre grew from deep house, downtempo, Burning Man and playa-tech scenes, global-fusion club music, and the softer end of progressive house. Lee Burridge's All Day I Dream aesthetic, labels such as Sol Selectas, Shanti Radio, Akbal, and Kindisch, and artists such as Lost Desert, Sébastien Léger, YokoO, Be Svendsen, Sabo, Armen Miran, Hraach, Monolink, and Bedouin gave the sound an identifiable international circuit. It influenced organic downtempo, desert house, Afro organic house, and wellness-adjacent electronic music without losing its DJ-tool roots.
