Neo-Swing

Neo-swing is the hybrid, less purist wing of the revival, mixing swing, jump blues, rockabilly, ska, and punk attitude into a sharper-edged retro-modern package.
History
While “modern swing revival” can imply faithful recreation, neo-swing usually suggests a contemporary fusion with stronger subcultural signals and more overt 1990s irony. It peaked fast, but its fashion, dancing, and horn-driven cool still echo in retro subcultures and wedding-band economics everywhere.
