History
Electric blues guitar developed partly through jazz influence: Charlie Christian changed single-note guitar language, while T-Bone Walker brought horn-like phrasing, ninth chords and urbane presentation into blues. Postwar guitarists such as Lowell Fulson and B.B. King absorbed that sophistication, and jazz players including Kenny Burrell, Grant Green and Wes Montgomery made blues forms central to their albums.
