Internet Club is club music built from online taste rather than one physical city: hyperpop drops, nightcore vocals, donk, hardstyle, trance, Jersey club, deconstructed pop, meme references, maximalist edits, and queer-rave humor. It is less about a fixed BPM than a feeling of compressed internet nightlife, where a track might act like a pop song, DJ tool, joke, and emotional confession at once. The strongest examples turn chaotic references into functional dance energy.

History

PC Music, SOPHIE, Night Slugs, SoundCloud DJ culture, Zoom-era parties, 100 gecs fandom, and online queer club communities all fed internet club. Producers and artists such as umru, Laura Les, Gupi, Fraxiom, food house, Alice Gas, underscores, Dorian Electra, 100 gecs, Himera, six impala, Recovery Girl, Kai Whiston, Danny L Harle, A. G. Cook, and SOPHIE helped make a club language where pop hooks and extreme sound design belonged on the same floor. Dog Show Records, PC Music, and Bandcamp/SoundCloud scenes supplied much of the connective tissue.
