Industrial Hardcore is dark, abrasive hardcore built from distorted kicks, metal/noise textures, cinematic dread, broken machinery, and anti-melodic pressure. It is less bouncy than gabber and less playful than Frenchcore, often drawing from industrial music, dark techno, and noise. The sound is bleak, heavy, and hostile in a controlled way.

History

Industrial hardcore grew from hardcore techno, industrial, doomcore, speedcore, and labels such as Industrial Strength, The Third Movement, and Enzyme. Lenny Dee, The DJ Producer, Ophidian, DJ Promo, Armageddon Project, Manu Le Malin, Hellfish, The Outside Agency, Tymon, Sei2ure, Mindustries, and D-Passion became key names. It remains a respected specialist lane inside hardcore festivals and dark underground events.
