Ibiza Pop Dance
Located in 1 route
Ibiza Pop Dance is the sunlit radio side of European club music: Balearic atmosphere, resort choruses, Latin or Mediterranean hooks, piano-house warmth, and polished vocal dance production. It is less underground than Balearic club culture and less novelty-driven than bubblegum dance. The goal is summer memory: terraces, beach bars, package holidays, and mainstream club crossover.
History
The lane grew from Ibiza's global club brand, Balearic pop, Euro house, Latin dance, trance-pop, and 2000s commercial house. ATB, DJ Sammy, Modjo, Spiller, Roger Sanchez, Bob Sinclar, David Guetta, Eric Prydz, Edward Maya, Inna, Las Ketchup, and Shapeshifters each turned club or resort sounds into mass pop. It became one of Europe's main export moods before EDM festival pop absorbed many of its functions.
