Hardwave
Located in 1 route
Hardwave is wave music intensified for bigger systems: faster movement, harder kicks, sharper trap percussion, trance-like leads, dark supersaws, and cybernetic bass pressure. It keeps wave's melancholy and neon atmosphere but turns the drop into a more physical rave event. The mood is futuristic, nocturnal, and cinematic, often closer to a dystopian chase scene than a relaxed cloud-rap beat.
History
Hardwave grew from the wave scene as producers pushed its trap and trance influences toward higher-energy club and festival shapes. Skeler's visibility, especially around "Tel Aviv," helped define the anthem side, while Deadcrow, Juche, Heimanu, Remnant.exe, Sublab, Ytho, Altare, Barnacle Boi, and related artists broadened the scene through labels, YouTube channels, and online mixes. By the early 2020s it had become wave's most recognizable branch, overlapping with trap, hard trance revival, cyber trap, and melodic bass.
