Producers keep the menacing sonic shell while flipping the message toward faith, conviction and deliverance, so the genre sounds like drill but preaches rather than threatens.
History
Grew out of London's Christian rap scene in the late 2010s as believers adopted UK drill's dominant street format for evangelism. Duos like GS & Rev J of Barz For The Kingdom and collective Goons4God built early momentum, while producer ScottyC became the scene's defining beatmaker, supplying drill instrumentals to a growing UK CHH movement.
