Game Score Electronic
Located in 1 route
Game Score Electronic is electronic music written for interactive worlds: loopable cues, adaptive layers, synth themes, chiptune inheritance, ambient exploration, combat pulses, and tracks that can survive repeated listening while supporting play. Compared with film scoring, it often needs more modular structure and clearer loops. Compared with chiptune, it is wider, covering ambient, orchestral, industrial, and cinematic electronic approaches.
History
Early game hardware made electronic scoring practical, but the modern style expanded through indie and AAA composers who treated games as serious albums. C418, Disasterpeace, Ben Prunty, Lena Raine, Mick Gordon, Jesper Kyd, Austin Wintory, Darren Korb, Akira Yamaoka, Lifeformed, scntfc, Hyper, The Algorithm, Gareth Coker, and HEALTH helped show how electronic game scores could be ambient, melodic, brutal, or cinematic while still working interactively.
