Future Rave is a David Guetta and MORTEN-led festival style that fuses big-room EDM structure with darker rave, techno, trance, and electro textures. The drums and arrangement are still made for mainstage release, but the sound design is leaner and moodier than 2010s big room: acid-like riffs, minor-key tension, clipped vocal phrases, and heavier low-end drive. It functions as a bridge between pop-aware festival EDM and the darker techno revival that entered mainstage programming in the 2020s.

History

The label formed around Guetta and MORTEN's late-2010s collaborations after the classic EDM boom had cooled. Tracks such as "Never Be Alone," "Make It To Heaven," and "Kill Me Slow" framed a conscious update to festival dance music: less cartoonish big room, more rave pressure, but still accessible enough for headline sets. The sound expanded through DJ edits, remixes, and festival programming, influencing adjacent big-room techno and commercial peak-time records.
