Full-On Psytrance
Located in 1 route
Full-On Psytrance is the bright, high-energy morning side of psytrance: rapid basslines, octave-jumping patterns, euphoric leads, playful fills, big breakdowns, and a more direct festival payoff than older Goa trance. It keeps psychedelic sound design but turns the emotional temperature upward. Full-on can be polished and commercial, but its classic form is fast, melodic, dense, and built to make a field lift after sunrise.
History
Full-on grew from Israeli and international psytrance as the scene moved from 1990s Goa melodies into sharper 2000s production. Infected Mushroom, GMS, Astrix, 1200 Micrograms, Talamasca, Electric Universe, Sesto Sento, Wizzy Noise, Bizzare Contact, Electro Sun, DigiCult, System Nipel, Ephedrix, and Utopia/Agitato/Dacru-style labels defined the sound. Its golden age gave psytrance a broader festival language before progressive psy, offbeat, and EDM-facing psy pulled some of the audience elsewhere.
