History
As the final push in a multi-part campaign, the last trailer historically got the loudest, most complete music, and trailer houses built their signature epics for exactly this slot. Two Steps from Hell's anthemic tracks, Audiomachine's climactic pieces, Globus's choral epics and Immediate Music's Trailerhead catalogue (home to 'Lacrimosa') became go-to closers, while Future World Music and Really Slow Motion supplied triumphant beds. The final-trailer cue distilled the genre's promise of scale and catharsis and produced many of trailer music's best-known standalone tracks.
