Eurovision Pop

The contest-bred pop built to win the room: huge key-change choruses, multilingual hooks, dramatic builds, and staging-ready dynamics. Ranges from glossy dance-pop to anthemic ballads and theatrical rock, but always engineered for instant, cross-border emotional impact and a televote-friendly, singalong payoff before three minutes are up.
History
Eurovision launched in 1956 and gave Europop some of its biggest exports, from ABBA's 1974 'Waterloo' win. The streaming era sharpened its pop ambitions: Loreen's 2012 'Euphoria' became a genuine club hit, Netta's 'Toy' and Måneskin's 'Zitti e Buoni' broke globally, proving the contest a reliable launchpad for chart-ready continental pop.
