History
Born mid-70s when UK magazine Blues & Soul tagged Boney M.'s sound 'Eurodisco', it flowered in Munich via Giorgio Moroder and Frank Farian, and in France via Cerrone. Silver Convention and Munich Machine defined its glossy machine-funk; Moroder's sequencer work prefigured electronic dance. It faded with disco's early-80s decline but seeded Italo and house.
