High-energy 90s club-pop built on a fixed template: thumping four-on-the-floor kick, stabbing synth riffs, a soaring female diva hook, and a male rap verse. Driving 130-ish BPM, bright keyboard hooks, and shout-along refrains made it festival fuel. Production is muscular and formulaic in the best way, all built for the dancefloor.
History
Emerging from German and Belgian studios in the early 90s, Eurodance crystallized after Snap! and Technotronic fused house beats with rap and pop hooks. Italian and German producers flooded charts; the sound peaked at Ibiza's 1994 summer and dominated European radio through 1997 before splintering into trance and later EDM. It defined the decade's club-pop.
