Euro House Pop

House-rooted European pop: filtered four-on-the-floor grooves, pumping pianos and disco-sample loops, diva or chopped vocal hooks, and a bright club polish aimed at radio. Smoother and more groove-driven than Eurodance's rap template, it leans on uplifting house chords and soulful French-touch-style vocal lines for crossover.
History
In the late 1990s French and Italian producers filtered late-disco loops into pop singles, the "French touch" sound. Stardust's 1998 smash and Daft Punk's Discovery pushed it onto pop radio, while Modjo and Spiller topped charts with diva-vocal house. Bob Sinclar carried the uplifting club-pop strain into the mid-2000s, bridging 90s rave-pop and 2000s commercial house.
