History
Crystallized by 4AD's Cocteau Twins in the late 80s and the 'Heaven or Las Vegas' template, dream pop ran parallel to shoegaze through the early 90s, with Mazzy Star's 'So Tonight That I Might See' bringing it to US ears. Baltimore's Beach House revived it in 2010, and Cigarettes After Sex carried its narcotic intimacy into the streaming age.
