History
The Mavericks fused country, Cuban son and Tex-Mex from the 1990s. As Latin and country streaming surged together in the 2020s, a wave of crossovers arrived: Kane Brown with Carin León, Nelly's all-star country project, and bilingual acts Kat & Alex and Leah Turner pushing Spanish-language country onto US charts.
