Bounce tech is tech house with a spring-loaded center of gravity: rubbery bass, snappy fills, cheeky hooks, and rhythmic emphasis on uplift rather than hypnosis. The groove feels more vertical and festival-ready than a roller, often with exaggerated call-and-response bass movement.

History

The style emerged as producers looked for something between straight tech house and bass house—groovy, but obviously fun and instantly physical. Joshwa, Biscits, Mau P, Martin Ikin, Max Styler, and other current main-room artists helped establish its bouncy, hook-first identity.
