History
U.K. bassline broke through with T2, DJ Q, H "Two" O, and regional club/radio scenes in the late 2000s. In the 2010s, producers such as Chris Lorenzo, Hannah Wants, Low Steppa, Cause & Affect, Taiki Nulight, and AC Slater pulled that bassline DNA into house and bass-house frameworks. The result became one of the foundations of modern U.K. bass house: garage-derived bounce, heavy subs, vocal hooks, and a flexible relationship with mainstream club house.
